Boating Attire

This week, my team at work were rewarded with a day cruising around beautiful Sydney harbour on a catamaran. Of course I had to make sure I had a cute and comfortable outfit for the day, so I popped into one of my favs, Country Road. They have some really lovely basics out for Summer and I could have easily picked out a whole new wardrobe, but stuck to one outfit (pats self on the back)!

I wasn't really into skorts when they came out last Summer, but this one just spoke to me; the colour, pattern and the fabric. It's thick and stretches a bit, which makes for a more flattering skirt...I mean skort. I love the bright summery pattern too! My navy singlet is also from Country Road and is such soft material, it's more of a luxury singlet. I teamed the outfit with nude sandals, gold jewellery and my brown leather Michael Kors handbag. This bag just goes with everything and I like how big it is...fits all of my junk in it! My nailpolish of the day is from OPI, called 'can't find my czechbook'.

The outing was a great success, relaxing on the water in the sun with a few ice cold drinks!

I hope everyone's had a fab weekend and has a great week ahead!

Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a good start to the week! Monday is always the toughest after a great weekend, but it is one step closer to the next : )

like to start my Mondays with a fresh vegetable juice with carrots, beetroot and celery. Gives me the nutrients I need for the day and is actually really tasty as well!

Today I wore my winter, floral skirt from Sportsgirl. I love the length of this skirt and how comfortable it is.
I paired it with a black long sleeve, cotton top and my favourite Wittner heeled, black boots.
Love a good scarf to top off an outfit and this grey pashmina was really nice and warm.
My baby pink purse is from Zara and was such a good buy! Only $99 and it's such great quality. I really do like the bags that Zara sell.

My hair I kept simple, in a little bun and the same with makeup. I don't generally wear a lot during the week to work.

Happy Monday!

Pop of Colour Purple

We all know I love me some black and white clothes, but sometimes it's nice to add a pop of colour to your outfit.

Being the second day of Spring, you'd expect a really lovely sunny day...wrong! Today brought us chilly winds and a touch of rain, and I therefore had to dress to match. I went for some stretchy, black pants I've had forever from Glassons with my flat, black boots. My striped top is from Marcs - which is one of my favourites. This peplum zip up jacket you've seen on a number of occasions which is from Cue. Of course my Louis Vuitton Neverfull and the pop of colour scarf I got from my mum. She actually made this for me in a number of colours  : ) it's a really warm, casual scarf and I love it!

What do you like to add to a plain outfit for a pop of colour?

Feeling Teal

Good news all, tomorrow is Friday!!! It's been a long week for me so am looking forward to taking it easy this weekend!

Although it is Winter, I still love to rock a skirt. Im really liking this bold pencil skirt from Sportsgirl. The colour teal is so pretty!

I've teamed it with a black peplum top, which has a slight sparkle it to - not too much that you look like a disco ball but just the right amount! Adding a belt to the top, defines my waist a little better too.

I've worn black tights, heels and peplum jacket from Cue to finish off the look.

I love throwing bright, bold colours in the mix sometimes - keeps things interesting!

Hope you all have a great Friday and weekend ahead!

In The Navy

I feel that navy is the new black with clothes - it's classy and sleek but not as bold as black can be.

I just love this striped top from Marcs. It's comfortable yet looks dressy with the right outfit. My navy dress pants I had made in Vietnam - they're perfect! They fit my body shape and didn't break the budget.

I chose to match pink and rose gold jewelry with my outfit as it added a girlie touch and the heels are from Jo Mercer. They are a good quality staple pair of heels that are perfect for the working lady.

Hope you're all having a great week and not long till the weekend!

Black & White

Black and white are always my go to colours for an outfit when I'm not sure what to wear. I love this panelled shirt I bought in Singapore - you can really dress it up or down and I think the black panels are really flattering.

These dark blue skinny jeans are from Forever new - I love dark denim!

I teamed the outfit with my favourite nude, suede pumps from Tony Bianco. The heel is really high and I love a good pointy heel.

Hope you've all got an exciting weekend ahead and tgif tomorrow!
