I think it's safe so say...red is my favourite colour! Have been loving just a pop of red in my outfits quite a lot lately - just adds a little something to a black and white outfit.

Pencil Perfect

I've been rocking the monochrome look lately and this skirt may be my new favourite item of clothing. It's from Country Road and I love everything about it - colour, material and that split...Perfection! 

Zara is where I found this black, structured gem of a bag, along with the black stretchy top. Heels are from Tony Bianco and my watch is Michael Kors.

Twist on Houndstooth

Houndstooth is such a timeless print, but don't be afraid to mix things up sometimes. I love this hot pink and black chiffon shirt from Target for a pop of colour. Keeping to the theme of black I've teamed harem style pants from Witchery and patent flats from Wanted shoes. I love this comfortable, chic outfit for a put together feel while still quite casual.

Denim Sleek

A bit of denim in the workplace never heard anyone...right?! 

Loving the mix of chic and casual in this outfit I wore. The pencil skirt really pulls the look together and shows off your figure, which I think makes wearing denim a tad dressier. 

Denim shirt is from Country Road and skirt I had made in Vietnam. My nude heels are Tony Bianco. Not the most comfortable...but they look good hehe!

Bold Brights

I'm enjoying the last few hours of the weekend before preparing for the week ahead. 

For casual Friday at work I wore Jeans West jeans with a bright pop of red shirt from Sportsgirl. I love this bright block of red ~ makes a plain outfit a little more interesting. 

I teamed gold and black flats from Witchery, as well as gold jewellery. My bag of choice was Louis Vuitton ~ love this bag for daytime. The quality is fantastic and the colours match with so much.

Casual Black

I don't know about you, but I feel my best in a black dress that hugs me in the right places! 

This little number is from Sheike and the most comfortable, convertible dress I own. By comfortable I mean stretchy and slouches in the right spots so I don't spend all night sucking my tummy in and by convertible I mean black tie event or with flats at work on a Friday (as above). It's so fab I want it in every colour! 

For casual Friday at work and out to dinner I wore sandals and a denim jacket, dressing it down a tad. Gold was my choice of metal, as well as my favourite pink Zara bag.

Neutral Favourites

I always gravitate towards neutrals..and this week was no exception! There were a couple of chilly days...Autumn is on it's way. 

These basic black pants from Witchery are a staple piece in my wardrobe. They're an easy go to and match with absolutely everything. The drawstring keeps them slightly casual, while slinky material dresses them up; especially worn with a fab pair of heels like I've done. 

Nude pointy pumps...what else can I say!? These suede Tony Bianco's are perfection!  

Country Road always produces some fantastic neutral pieces. This peplum stop is one of my favourites. 

I've opted to wear my hair down, straightened and to finish off the look, Louis Vuitton and gold accessories.

Chilly Summers Day

What's been going on with the weather this week? Talk about identity crisis...it's been all over the shop. But TGIF I say and yay for the long weekend!

I do love a good all black errrthing outfit ; ) this one incorporates florals, a pinky nude bag and gold flats. My skirt is from Sportsgirl and is a classic midi you'll find everywhere these days. I love how it has pockets too! Basic cotton tops are a must and go with everything. You'll find this long sleeve top at Cotton On. 

My favourite gold flats are Sambag and the most comfortable shoes ever. Zara have the most amazing handbags and that's where you'll find this nude coloured beauty. I've been using this bag non stop this Summer. Love it!

Back to Basics

We are well into 2015 now and the holidays are well and truly over! For my first day back at work I went for a casual back to basics look. 

This striped top from Marcs may just be my favourite. I've had it a little while now and goes with so many outfits. My pants are so comfortable you wouldn't believe! They're loose denim from Seed. 

I've teamed with my outfit, nude Sambag flats and Zara purse. I think they add a lightness to the outfit rather than wearing my usual black.
